Jaeden
Written by Warren Davie
Jaeden Gordon is a senior at the University of Oregon. He got involved with NCM in 2021, during a free pizza giveaway outreach. Jaeden grew up in Pennsylvania, and recalls that when he moved to Oregon, finding a church was not his priority. So when small group leaders with NCM offered to follow-up with him, he was initially hesitant. But after spending time befriending him, Jaeden became more open and formed a lasting friendship with Warren on NCM staff. Since then, Jaeden has split his time between Pennsylvania back home and Oregon, making sure to be involved with the ministry while he is here in college. He has grown in personal discipleship and in maturity in the Lord.
In 2025 for Spring Break, NCM from University of Oregon took a team of students and staff to Washington State University. There is an existing NCM chapter at this school, and our team went to support, encourage, and assist with evangelism efforts. Though he had never done anything like this before, Jaeden eagerly signed up and came on the trip with NCM. He spent time meeting new people on campus, sharing his testimony, and inviting people to believe in the Gospel. Though he would have never seen himself being involved with a mission trip, he was excited to go and says that he would gladly serve in any future opportunities the Lord provides him. Jaeden hopes to attend WSU as a graduate student after he finishes his time at the University of Oregon. Once in Pullman, he is excited to connect with the NCM and local church partnership to continue living life on mission after graduation.
