Winter is upon us; for most of us, that means a long season of cold, dreary days. It can be hard to wake up and feel motivated to keep going. In these moments, I am reminded that God created every season with a purpose.

Take time and read over Psalm 104 and reflect on how the Lord is the author and perfecter of all things.

As I reflect on these verses, I am amazed that God set all times, seasons, and aspects of nature in place and I can rejoice in the rain he has brought that will bring forth flowers in spring. Ministry seasons are similar, there are some that are uplifting, and some that are dark and difficult. No matter what this season holds for you, know that the God who, "looks on the earth and it trembles" has not left you in this season alone.
